’20 Belgian 45s’
Selected by Hypnoise
Long time crate digging buddy of mine, record collector Hypnoise is probably Belgium’s best kept secret. Originally a Hip Hop lover, he quickly started looking for original samples on records of sixties and seventies funk, soul and jazz, thereby developing a passion for the music and records of his home country, Belgium. Fast forward a few years and Hypnoise now probably has one of the finest collections of Belgian rare groove records, of which he selected 20 tunes to share with us today. Forget everything you thought you knew about Belgian music and take this one hour trip through Belgium’s 1960s and 1970s underground music scene.

you can check out the post here and listen to the selection on mixcloud
