It’s been a while since I posted some 45s on the site. It’s 45 Friday after all, so here we go.
Alvin Robinson was born in New Orleans in 1937. In 1964, he recorded a version of Chris Kenner’s Something You Got, reaching the Billboard Hot 100 at no. 52.
Down Home Girl was released on Red Bird in 1964 and was covered by The Rolling Stones and The Coasters.
